Our school is ending today, and the last few weeks, I have been working on Claymation and Pivot Stickfigure Animation with my sixth graders. Students get very engaged in animation and the shift of learning really falls on them, as I find I become more of a coach than the person at the front of the room. They discover, they create, they share -- and I just guide them along.
I love that.
