Year 10 animations on themes around mental health.

I've just spent four days working at Bewdley High school with year 10. The money was raised, by a small team of students to cover the costs from a local charity. Each workshop was two days long and over the four days 14 short films were produced. Next term DVD's of the films are being sent out to local schools as a resource for teachers to use with year 7,8 and 9 to start classroom discussion on these tricky areas of mental health. The shortest Myth

On Friday I was asked to run 2 x 2 hour long animation sessions for the Film Education conference held in Brighton. This short format workshop/session is becoming more popular and I'm now getting to used to it. Animation and MFL's

I had a great day yesterday, working with 20 Primary teachers from LA's in the West Midlands. They were all Modern Languages teachers and had signed up to my two hour workshop to find out how animation can help teach French and Spanish, keeping the students engaged and thinking about different languages and cultures, as well as their own.
